WELCOME
to Western Zone of the New York State Retired Teachers' Association,
Inc., an organization for retired teachers, administrators and
other educators and their spouses. Current membership is about
5000 members from 22 school districts in the Zone.
The
officers are dedicated and hard-working individuals, as is each
member on the Board of Directors, and I thank them for their support
and dedication. We plan to continue and expand the work
that has been done for the many years prior to our election to
encourage:
- organization and revitalization of committees on the zone
and unit level
- increased awareness of the programs, services and committees
offered on the state and zone level
- a more active participation by members of the zone
- additional membership as well as continued and increased
membership benefits
- cooperation, congeniality and leadership among the Board
of Directors and all members of the ZOne
- support and assistance to those in need
